Lila Mae Wallace, ex Beauty Queen of the Virginias, is a textbook narccissist. This gets in the way of her marriage to her husband Wag, a successful lawyer and councilman elect, her best friend Shannon, a Lady of Mercy and stay at home mother, her therapist, who might have received her degree from Univeristy of Phoenix online, and her husband's physical therapist, with whom she might be in love. After a debilitating car accident with her husband, Lila Mae unwittingly severs ties with everyone who loves and supports her by sprialing into heavy drug abuse and divorcing her husband. After seven years at rock bottom, she re-connects with Wallace "Wag" Wallace, who offers her a second chance at the life she knew... but will she be able to put aside her defects and submit to Wallace's new rules?
